Linda Mosely, MD

Dr. Mosely’s love of medicine began at an early age when she witnessed the devotion her father and grandfather showed towards the field of medicine and to their patients. Following in their footsteps, she has devoted her career to a lifetime of studying medicine and caring for patients. Her specialty is hand surgery but she is also highly-skilled in all aspects of plastic surgery. She is a member of the prestigious Amercian Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. As past president of the Northern Virginia Medical Society she has been involved in many aspects of leadership, teaching and volunteerism. She has volunteered her time and services in remote locations such as Monrovia and Equador.

One of the most telling accomplishments Dr. Mosely has received is the award she has received for the past 3 years from her patients. Patients’ Choice recognition reflects the difference a particular physician has made in the lives of their patients. The honor is bestowed to physicians who have received near perfect scores as voted by patients. While physicians generally receive positive reviews from their patients, only a select few receive uniformly rave reviews across the board. Of those who have received rave reviews with near perfect scores by their patients are awarded this honor.
