Terrible man and a bad doctor. He did my hysterectomy about 15 years ago and wanted my catheter out before he left town so he had me go into office for his nurse Helen to deal with it. I was able to urinate on my somewhat at that time but not eough so she put catheter back in. Apparently she didn't follow good hygiene because I had a terrible infection and 102 degree fever next morning. My friends and neighbors were very concerned and asked if I wanted to go to his office by ambulance. I knew I'd get seen quicker that way so I said yes. Dr. Williams seemed to take it as a personal affront that I 'wouldn't' urinate. He had catheter removed and told nurses they could only cath me every hour if needed. He hydrated me by vein. I was in terrible pain all night, begging the nurses to cath me. As soon as they did, there was relief but pressure began building again. Next morning he wanted me to see a psychologist. I said I would, as long as there was a urologist right behind me. Urologist apparently saw my distress and had cather put back in to relieve it. Then he gave me some medicine which had me urinating soon. Why didn't Dr W know of this? He also called my vagina a 'twat.' As I said, a terrible man and a bad doctor. I can't believe he is still in practice unless there's another doctor by the same name.
