Dr. Barkow was totally dismissive of my concerns regarding my daughter & said "She has a cold. You don't need to give a child medicine every time she has a cold." When I tried to explain that my daughter's symptoms were worse than when she has colds she interrupted me & said "No, no there's nothing else we're going to do for her. Take her home."
Of course, instinctively as a mother I knew there was something more wrong with my child so I didn't stop there- I brought her to another pediatrician (Dr. Porembski, a very caring doctor) & sure enough- she had pnemonia. Never would I ever bring her to Dr. Barkow again.
