I recently stumbled into Vida Spa with a friend in search of an aquaintance, whom I thought worked there. As it turns out, that person was no longer there, but we were immediately taken in by the sense of calm and comfort. The lighting is low, the acoustics are soft, and the staff could not be more relaxed and welcoming, all of which served to dispell our doubts about whether it might be too high end of a place to wander into without an appointment.
And what a lucky find! It was just several days before my 50th birthday and they offered a two for one special. Within days we were both getting ayurvedic treatments, which were by far the best spa treatments either of us have had, with plenty of hedonistic experience behind us. We were treated to an infrared sauna and then a waiting room with tea and fireplace fefore our treatments. The facial I had was so rejuvenating, even my husband kept commenting days later that my skin was glowing. The one product I purchased which has continued to luxuriously nourish my skin was under 30.00. I am going back today with another friend. Check them out!
