My name is Lynae Quimby. I am a New York State Licensed Massage. At Rejuvenate Therapeutic Massage our focus is to assist the body in healing itself. Our bodies are designed to heal and protect themselves. For example: we cut ourselves, we form a scab; we get something in our eyes, our eyes water in an attempt to flush out the particle, we whack our thumb with a hammer andwhats the first reaction.. To automatically grab it and apply pressure which.your body knows that applying pressure to the hurt area overrides the pain message going to the brain. It is called the pain gate theory. According to Dr. Andrew Weil: Massage nurtures the bodys talent for healing by triggering and supporting the bodys own healing response. This is accomplished through physically working the tissues, and by reflexively calming the nervous system.

Lynae was the first massage therapist I went to. I was very nervous about the experience in general as well as the fact that I have back problems. I cannot say enough positive about the experience and the benefits that I felt physically. She worked in conjunction with my Chiropractic therapy.
I would highly recommend Lynae in every aspect of her practice.
