I spent 11 days here for rehab thru PT and OT for a shattered ankle...I was impressed with the personnel in those departments as well as the nursing staff...would not hesitate to go back if needed...only thing I disliked was at that time they had the old time beds that had cranks at the foot to raise or lower...this was about 10 years ago so it may have changed..

I wrote a review today and told how upset I am with the nursing home. I didn't think about it but I'm upset over one doctor there.So I'm writing another review to explain how great the nurses are. I go at different times of the day. I have to say they are really good with my Mother. They are always friendly and try to help me with her. Like one day she would not eat what I had gotten her because she said someone was coming to get her. The nurse just walked up with fast thinking and said well if you go ahead and eat you can spend more time with your friend. She said tbey called and are in traffic. My Mother just said that fine I'm ready to eat now. Another day I was there and she said I need to go to the bathroom bad. I said I will go with you. She said no I have to wait until my friend gets here. Again the nurse came up to Mother and said your friend called and ask me to take you to the bathroom. Well here Mom goes with her just laughing and not paying any attention to me Lol I'm Blessed that the nurses and all the workers there are helpful to me. I feel when I'm late or something I fieel they are good to her.They answer my questions and they work with me well.She won't let them bath her or wash her hair so they told me I can sign her up for a hair cut and wash and style. I did I pray she will let them do it.The bathing I have washed her off in the bathroom and we change her daily. She has a pink shirt she has to have on everyday. I got a new one tonight I hope we can figure this out.I just wanted to go back and say I'm happy with everyone but the doctor who is supposed to be a psychiatrist. I think they all think they are better than anyone. The ones I have meet I don't go to one yet. Lol I know if you go to the reviews on most rhey are not known as being happy. I guess hearing people tell their problems has made them unhappy. They all seem to have a set schedule and it would mess them up to get off of it Lol I like to be a off schedule person. Maybe they would have more fun be happy life is to short. May God Bless the Staff there it takes a special heart to be a care giver you have to have a heart full of Love. I know because I am one and I treat my people just like I would want my parents treated. I can't say that for the one's who took care of my Father. That was a different place. But I'm trusting Jesus Christ he will handle them.So I'm really Thankful for those who are taking care of my Mother. I pray she will be back to normal. My Father's death on Feb 5 2016 she was fine until he died. Then she has went into a deep depression. This is the 4th time since she was 52 years old. The easy way the doctors just say she has dementia. Well if you can get it within 6 weeks. I guess that is it but I don't believe it. I'm not a doctor but I know she had a better memory than me before this so there is know help for me.
