My Aunt was in Colonial Oaks only two months. Our entire family was very disappointed in her care. She was having trouble breathing & asked to be taken to the hospital. She was told by a nurse that she wasn’t sick enough to go to the hospital. She called her brother who then called Colonial Oaks & addressed the problem. She was only then taken to the hospital where she was told that she had pneumonia. She stayed in the hospital for (9) days. My Aunt deserves much better care than she was provided. She has recently moved to Sunrise of Metairie. So far things are looking good.

Would not suggest sending a loved one to this facility. Would suggest at ANY place like this to check on your loved one as much as possible and visit sporadically not having a set schedule of times when you visit. If I could give less than one star, I would.
