My one very critical complaint is that this facility is always very short handed with staff. This is a crucial matter because it effects every one, the staff, they are overworked and can not attend to each resident in the way that they need to be taken care of and unfortunately this results in poor care of our residents they are the ones who are mostly affected by this. The Cna's are not able to care for them in an efficient way and as a result they end up with bed sores and very depressed because they feel neglected. This is unacceptable. My Mom is a resident and has been here for over six years. The nurses and Cna's are like family, my family and I have enormous amount of respect for them and will be eternally grateful for all the love care and compassion they have given my parents as well as us. The solution is to hire more help and this will for sure be more beneficial for everyone, especially the residents.

Thank you

This is a terrible place!!!! My father was recently there. He was there for rehab for a ileostomy. When his bag was almost full, he would ring for the nurse. An aide would come in, shut off the light and tell him she will tell a nurse. 2 HOURS LATER! He rings the bell again. The aide comes in and hollers at him that she told the nurse. Now his bag breaks and he has to be cleaned and changed. After the bag broke, he laid in his own feces for 2 hours.
This happened multiple times!!!!
That isn't even the worst. His blood pressure was extremely low. Instead of calling his doctor, they kept giving him his blood pressure medicine. He became lethargic and dehydrated. The outcome was he had to be rushed to the hospital and his kidneys shut down.
Please, do not send your loved one here. There were times the "nurses" couldn't be found. They don't even have a nurse certified in inserting an IV!!
