My loved one was placed there as they "seemed" to be a great home on the surface. As the months passed on, my loved one was severely neglected and abused almost to the point of death. She was admitted to the hospital where she was made well enough to go to a different nursing home. Her wounds left scars. If you have a loved one in a nursing home, make sure you visit often and take pictures of your loved ones. Even if your loved one is "passed out" take pictures and document everything.
