It was a very bad experience for my mother who was recovering from surgery. Though some staff were obviously caring people doing their best, nothing could cover up the obvious shortcomings including dirty bathrooms, sticky floors and understaffing. The old part of Golden View- the original home- is narrow and extremely crowded. It has one main elevator and you can wait 15 minutes just to get out of the building! Ridiculous! And for those who are convalescing short-stay, watch out for the efforts to keep you longer than you need to. Because their doc is only around a couple days a week, they might suggest that you have to 'wait' to get their authorization to leave. Not true!
