As a short term patient in Maple manor and getting out tomorrow I'd advise anyone to choose carefully. I have experienced not getting my meds and more than once having to wait hours to get my meds at night and day. On this wing there is no med tech to help the nurses that makes it so the nurse can't do her nursing job as well and can't give out the meds also. They have refused to give me my hormone replacement therapy and my med for A Fib at night. The food in most places are bad but this food is worse and I will be checked for dehydration and mal nutrition. The Dr here has threatened to cut off all my meds if I won't make an appointment with her once I'm out( she didn't prescribe any of them) It feels like she's using me to defraud Medicare. My life depends on some of these meds. She's not my primary care Dr whom I've planned to see immediately when I leave tomorrow. You should check any Medicare reviews and inspections they have found problems this place has paid large fines. I feel by leaving and getting food to eat and getting my meds straightened out Ill recover a lot quicker and safer
Everyone in my community knows that they are the absolute best in the field. My granddad was a resident there. He received the best care possible. The staff is caring and compassionate. No odors. the food was delicious. They have the best therapy department in the county. I highly recommend Maple Manor.
