I think this is the best nursing home facility in this area. The staff* were very friendly and always willing to help and accommodate the patients.* The facility has a very nice campus-style atmosphere with a nice view from the windows. The food was very good and the portions were very large.

The downside is the TV channels available from Dish Network. While most of the patients seemed to be female senior citizens, the channels were mostly sports, soaps, and shows for pre-schoolers and young adults. Many of us agreed that we would have preferred to have channels 10.2 (METV) and 10.3 (Movies!) to see old TV series, movies/musicals. Both of the mentioned channels are free, over-the-air broadcast stations.

*(except for 1 who was always sitting in our room and making phone calls)

I didn't have a problem so much with appearance as much as I did theft. The patient who stayed here, a relative, was told by nursing staff not to leave anything of importance or even MEDICAL EQUIPMENT since things have been stolen. This is unacceptable!!! How can a facility allow theft????? My relative's room partner's sweater and other belongings were stolen and my relative was told not to leave medical equipment overnight since there were thieves in the facility. I wish I could press charges but unfortunately I didn't catch the thieves!!! Do not stay here!!!!!
