They could've used quite a few more staff members. They were very understaffed and I ended up having to wait quite awhile. I was very unimpressed with their level of skill. It seemed like they had just started yesterday. I've never seen a provider look so unprofessional. They obviously do not care about their appearance here because they looked like slobs. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone. I had to wait quite a while for my appointment. I was very disappointed. My son resided there for nearly a year; he was cognitive, was very good at verbal communication and very social--well liked. When he started making complaints about some of the staff bullying him, things changed drastically! I visited my son weekly, and saw him Saturdays. By Wednesday of the fallowing week, my son's medication was changed and he went from doing exceedingly well to catatonic and was packed up and sent to a hospital! All his belongings were supposed to be packed up and returned to him. It took about two months for him to be stable enough to be sent to a higher level of care facility; it took over one week for him to get his belongings and tow days for him to look at what was sent. Items missing: Cell Phone, I-pod and charge cord, stereo, and a CD which was given to him by his deceased brother. I have witnessed first hand staff taking breaks and using illegal drugs in the parking lot! Mike told me of a couple of staff members who he walked in on having sexual intercourse in HIS room! THIS place needs a full investigation with drug testing to all staff members! I feel as if, they purposely changed his medication to quiet him from telling the truth about the staff. I will be filling a report with the police station of the theft of my son's property.
