My mother lived here for 11 years, but when the place was bought out by Brookdale (which also merged with Emeritus in 2014), things began to change for the worse. That's when existing services began to be cut back and rents were raised every year. She had purchased her one-bedroom apartment for over $80,000 yet was paying over $2000/month by 2014! Unfortunately, for-profit conglomerates likes Brookdale /Emeritus are all about the bottom line. Her children are still fighting for the total return of a good-faith deposit put on CV's recommended Memory Unit which our mother never entered (or needed) before she died. I say Buyer Beware!
