Cute salon, very friendly place. I think there are at least 5 stylist here now. All of them are highly skilled, each with their own unique niche. It's really nice to use a salon located in a safe downtown location, I can run errands either before of after my appointment. I have not been to a better salon in the area, just my opinion. I've had to use other salons if I tried to make an appointment last minute and nothing was available. I know why I was able to get in to other salons so easily! Now I make my next appointment before I leave.

I notice this salon seems to fit right for most peoples needs. Other salons within walking distance have obvious high overhead and a bit intimidating in appearance. Thus thats probably why those other salons charge so much. Then you have those low end budget salons like Price Cutters, you get a girl that just graduated high school with no practical experience..and you get what you pay for.

The En Vogue salon is priced more in the middle of the opposite ends, but provides a service from what you expect walking into a salon that charges $75.00 for a haircut! I've been taking my business to En Vogue now for a few years and always plan afterwards to have lunch or dinner at one of Bank Streets nice pubs and restaurants.
