I took my sons girlfriend to have her haircut tonight. When I got there I asked if the girl working could do her hair and she said in about 15 minutes. We sat and waited and after about 30 minutes she was still working on a man. She wasn't really cutting his hair she was just mainly talking to him and flirting. We waited over 40 minutes and when he left she didn't say I'll be with you in a minute or anything. She ignored us and swept the hair from the floor. Then she took her tools to the sink and ran water over them for a minute. Next she sprayed her razor. After she realized we weren't gonna just leave she came over and we showed her a picture of how we wanted the hair. She said the lady in the picture had extensions and she couldn't cut it like that. Then I showed her another picture and said just shape the hair around the face llike this one. She then started making up reasons why that picture woulldn't work. I then told her fine just cut her hair a little and shape it around her face. She just stood there looking at me dumbfounded so I said to her, Is that problem can't you shape hair? She said back very rudely, of course I can I have been doing this for 25 years. I said good then just cut her hair. She said to the girl getting her hair cut sit in this chair. I said we want her hair washed we do not want a dry cut. She was very rude and said, I don't have time I have to be out of here in 15 minutes. Keep in mind we waited over 40 minutes. I then told her if she had not been flirting for the last hour with her client and talking instead of working she would have time. She looked at us and then said get out of my store. I then told her she was a nut and I would gladly leave. I called her when I left to let her know I am going to let her boss know abbout her. By the way, I have the utmost respesct for beauticians since I am now a student in beauty school, and so is the young lady that was with me. I am a school teacher and a professional woman. I run a business and understand how difficult people can be. However, as a professional and a customer, I will not allow someone to treat me in this manner and ignore it. She needs to be fired and someone needs to tell her your job is not the place to be flirting while customers are waiting. I will never go to Mastercuts again. Rude people will not get my money ever.
