I went to this hair salon for the first time to get my color treated dark blonde hair to a lighter beige shade. I notified the stylist, Claire, that my hair was dyed and not virgin hair and that it tends to pull red. She proceeded to dye my hair the color I was hoping for. After the first attempt, she said she should have used a different process because the first one didn't work. Here we go to blan b, for a lack of a better word. She did that process and toned it. During the time she had another client come in and was bouncing back and forth, which I was completely okay with. She passed me off to the owner, Becky, to cut my hair because Claire was bouncing back and forth. Becky asked me what I wanted and I told her similar to what I already had, just cleaned up. Well before I could stop her she grabbed a razor and started razor cutting my layers. I didn't even know what to say at this point. She assured me it would be okay. When I left and explained to Claire I felt my hair was too yellow/ orange and not beige like the picture I provided. I tried to like my hair over the weekend, color and cut, and I just could not, I hated the brassy blonde. I called back on Monday and the soonest they could get me in was 2 weeks out, well by then I am half way needing a new dye job, but I accepted this. After a little more thought and speaking with another stylist, I decited that I needed to have the owner fix it and not Claire and go somewhere else for my hair cut correction all together. I spent $145.00 and I hated my hair. I called the owner Becky and she told me she could not get me in sooner and she could not fix my hair, the stylist that did my hair has to fix it. I explained to Becky that she is the owner and should try and make this right sooner than me waiting 2 weeks. Well, she told me and I quote "I have no control over my stylists even though I am the owner." I'm sorry, but even if that is a leased space, at the end of the day, the owner is accountable for what walks out of their salon. She should have offered to fix it and maybe come in early or stay late a day to get it done. After I told her how I felt about her lack of accountability and if they couldn't fix it in a reasonable time I wanted a refund. I had already spent another $15.00 in deep conditioners repairing the damage that they did the first time. Becky said she had a client in the bowl and didn't have time for this and hung up on me. I was so willing to let them fix it and make it right. I am an understanding person, but this was just too much. I wouldn't reccommend a dog get their hair cut at Blondie's in Crawfordsville, much less anyone else. I will revise my review if the owner makes this right.
