My brother spent seven days in the Hospice before passing away. All of the family needs were anticipated, such as adequate seating, extra pillows and light blankets for those who sat up all night, and some cafeteria hours late at night, in the wee hours, and early in the morning. Everythig was clean and fresh. The patient received a daily shower or sponge bath. Pain medication was planned and administered so that the patient was pain free withing seconds. Parking was adequate and the physical location of the facility was easily accessed by the main highways and interstates. The hospice nurses and staff were very, very kind to the patient and to his family and friends.
