Hospice of Rockingham County, Inc. has been providing specialized end-of-life care for patients with life-limiting illnesses since 1987. Patients served in all of Rockingham County as well as Caswell, Guilford, & Stokes counties. Care is most often provided in patients' homes but also in our state-of-the-art inpatient & residential facility, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, group homes, and retirement homes.

Services Hospice of Rockingham County (HRC) utilizes an interdesciplinary team to care for the patient as well as their family. On the team are registered nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains (who also act as bereavement coordinators), and specially-trained volunteers.

HRC offers 24-hour on-call support, pain control & symptom management, emotional support for the patient as well as the family, and medical equipment and supplies related to the patient's terminal diagnosis.
