Incredibly deceptive business practices! I was a long time customer, and bit my tongue for too long. They will charge you for things without your permission, push unneeded services and then will be happy to tell you that it's just policy and you as the customer don't have the right to be unhappy. Sorry, but if deception and dishonesty are your policy, that's a big old red flag in my book. Stay away for the good of you and your animal.

We have taken both our cat and dog to this vet. Dr. Ryan is the one that we normally schedule with, but Dr. Annette is also very good. We had to put our cat down and they shed some tears along with us. Our dog had to have surgery for suspected cancer and all the treatment options were fully explained in terms we would easily understand. I am an RN, but when it is a member of your family....you tend to not always hear everything. They printed out the options along with the costs. We made our decisions about the surgery...what we did and did not want to have done. We were never made to feel badly about not having a biopsy of the tumor (we would treat our dog the same regardless of her diagnosis). I have been to another vet in town that made us feel badly about putting our other cat down because there was "still so much that we could do to prolong her life." Look, we made the agonizing decision to let her go, loaded her up in the car, drove there crying our eyes out, then we were shamed for not doing more for our 16 year old cat!!!!! We never went back there. The positive side to that is that we were forced to find a new vet and we found a great facility, with wonderful staff, at Associated Vet!! We have been fortunate enough to spend almost 2 more great years with our dog after the surgery. We will have to put her down soon, but the staff at Associated Vet. makes the process more tolerable. Washington is blessed to have such a great veterinary clinic in town....Thanks Dr. G., Dr. Ryan & staff!!
