We took our 3 yr. old mini-Schnauzer in after our 1 yr. old rescued Pit Bull attacked her. The receptionist was rude and condescending and said that they wouldn't treat our dog. I told her that she would die without medical aid and begged them to please help but she said no because we didn't like their two new veterinarians. (We didn't like Dr. Neuman because on the occasion that we'd met her she didn't identify herself when she entered the exam room, nor did she even bother to say hello. She didn't acknowledge my wife and I in any fashion, so, understandably we wondered who she was and were insulted at her rudeness). We had never met the newest veterinarian so the receptionist's statement was false. We had been asking Dr. Thornton to please euthanize the Pit Bull as she had also attacked another of our dogs but she refused because the Pit Bull was only a year old. What if a family with young children had adopted this dog and the dog had bitten one of their kids? When the Pit Bull attacked our other dog I reached in for a collar to break up the fight and was badly bitten on my right hand. I was hospitalized, underwent two surgeries and was in physical therapy for five months. Ask us how we feel about this institution......

Wow is all I can say about them. I have seen some vets become callused and unemotional but you will not find that here. The veterinarian and staff are extremely friendly and treat pets as if they are a part of the family. I could really tell how much they love animals. The kennels and holding area for pets were so clean and spotless, I would recommend them for sure if you need to leave your pet for a few days. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. I have heard horror stories of people's pets being misdiagnosed by their veterinarians, but that is not something you have to worry about here. I have never had a bad experience and I have complete faith in their care. It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members.
