I will never take my animals here again, nor will I recommend this hospital to anyone. I don't want anyone else to experience what I went through. I was really disappointed that he was not able to answer any of my questions. He doesn't seem to know much of anything about equine care. I can tell it is maybe not a top priority to maintain a professional appearance here, there is definitely lots of room for improvement. It seemed like he was trying to rush my appointment and were annoyed to be helping us. It was obvious that they wanted to be somewhere else. After several bouts of trying to tube my horse due to choke which at first he thought may be rabies, she started to strangle and he had to shoot her in while the stocks . If he didn't know what he was doing he should have sent us for surgery in El Paso. After killing her and not even returning the new halter she was wearing, we were sent a $400. plus bill for his lack of knowledge and the slug from his rifle. The sight of this beautiful animal panicking and struggling due to Dr. Browns treatment will forever be with us.
