Dr. Voss is the BEST vet my pets have ever had!!! We wouldn’t go to anyone else. He has seen our dog and cat on a Sunday and he is extremely fair priced.

My family and I have been customers of Dr. Voss for 20 years. I had been becoming dissatisfied with his treatment of my animals for some time, but I kept going to him for simple things such as spays/neuters and vaccinations. He used to work with his long term customers as far as payment went, but has quit that practice. His office staff is rude and condisending. He is more interested in treating livestock than pets and will make you wait for long periods of time after setting up appointments. He has, on 2 occasions in my family, claimed to alter an animal, accepted payment for these services, and then come to find out that the animal was not altered. Once a male border collie I owned was never even prepped for surgery and sent home as neutered. I called the next morning, he argued with me that it was swelling when i told him that the testicles were still there. I took him in and showed them, The office staff agreed and he was neutered. However I was treated very poorly in that situation. The other incident happend that one of my sisters dogs went to be spayed, came home with an incision. Everything was cool til a year later when the dog came into heat. She took the dog back, with her records showing that she had paid for the surgery, and the Dr. argued with her. She got her money back, but weas told never to come back again. She was treated terribly because HE was the one that MESSED up. I want to know what they cut out of the dog, if it wasnt the uterus...... I used to be very happy with this Vet, but havent been in a couple of years and have found another. I or anyone else in my family will never come back and NEVER refer him to anyone ever again. There are other options in the town of Checotah OK.
