My friend introduced me to the Occoquan Animal Hospital after I was unable to get an appointment at the Woodbridge hospital and the owner Dr. McDonald would not be available for a while. It was a blessing and I truly appreciate the wonderful care they have provided to my pets. All of my pets are aging, so they have had had to provide diagnostic and supportive care for cats with terminal cancers, and most recently kidney failure. They are by far the BEST vets in Woodbridge VA, if not all of Northern VA. I can make this statement, as I have visited many vets in this area over the past 15 yrs. They are professional, competent, experienced, kind, and understanding. Not at all in it for the "money." They truly care about you and your furry baby. For someone that has had to work with vets for over 40 years, this is a novelty. I don't hesitate to recommend them to all as a vet. If only own doctors could be so good...

I felt absolutely at ease leaving my pet here- everything is brand-new and top of the line. Their equipment is all the most advanced, so I knew my pet would be getting top of the line treatment. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place.
