I got a bill from this weirdo company that is dated to an emergency room visit I made back in September. At the time I had fallen while rollerblading. I paid the emergency room a $150 out of pocket co-pay and I got a split chin glued back together and a sling because my shoulder was hurt. I thought the transaction was over. But now months later I'm getting these weirdo bills in the mail. $40 here, $50 there.
There's no explanation on them. The emergency room nurses who swiped my card and took my ins. info told me I was done so I am done. I'm not going to just fork over money because some anonymous company on the other side of the country sends me a bill with no explanation.
These bills have scam written all over them. I'm going to contact my hospital and inquire as to why my information is being leaked to outside scam artist parties.
OmniMotion is one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. They provided me with a medical device whose plastic broke the first time I used it. I have to open and close it with tape and rubber bands in order to use it, which is quite cumbersome with my multiple hand and wrist injuries. They refused to replace it at first, then relented and said they would call me back with a return number. They never did, so I called my medical provider, Kaiser, who also called them and asked them to contact me, which they never did. Now they have the gall to bill me for the broken device and I cannot contact them.Their customer service is terrible, and almost all of the operators barely speak English. Their customer service voice box does not connect to take messages. The bill I received was dated long before it was mailed, leaving me very little little time to pay, and I certainly am not giving this company my credit card info. Unfortunately I am going to have to contact Medicare to tell them how this provider takes advantage of elderly patients.
