Dr. Hughes graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 and opened his practice in Malvern just a few months later. After selling his practice in 2013 and doing relief work for a few years, he returned to practice in Malvern in February 2017. Construction was completed on his new office in September 2017 and he relocated his practice to 853 Henry St., the former site of KFC.
