St Lukes is pathetic at best. My treatment was based on discrimination, disgusting staff attitude and many lies told to me about what care was available to me, A rude, extremely unprofessional psychiatrist was appointed to me. Twice, for review.I was badgered with his demand for quick responses. The second visit, his retaliatory actions came with no feedback or comment on the possible improvement of my recovery. So heartless was he, that he would NOT greet you, smile or show any human compassion for your situation! My meals were consistently opposite of what I ordered on my menu request sheets. I and most patients were treated with contempt and little to mostly NO compassion. During my stay, I consistently smiled, always stated my requests with please and thank yous, always greeted staff as well as other patients with a smile and pleasant words. Belligerent, loud and self-involved patients received faster treatment and answers than I did! This pathetic excuse for a Mental Health Facility is DANGEROUS to those who "follow the rules" as they are seen as hokey or frauds. In a "Human Rights" brochure, I discovered 9 laws BROKEN by the staff, doctors, nurses and the horribly unprofessional psychiatrist appointed me. 2.5 months Previous to signing myself in, I had two major surgeries. The cheaply constructed beds, plastic pillows and walking on hard vinyl flooring led to a constant increase of pain to those areas that where supposed to be healing - non- answers, cheap and poorly used materials provided an immediate degeneration of my physical well being and personal health.

"Living Hell - NO SAINTS Lukes" is the name more properly suited for this sub par, unprofessionally built and staffed Mental Health Hospital!
