in the past I’ve always called Bridge House first for any donations that I had. But, with my recent experience, that will no longer be the case. They scheduled a pickup with us and when they arrived, they refused to take the article which was in very good condition. When I complained and told the driver t I would call the corporate offices, I immediately called the number that I had originally called to schedule the pickup. I got a r cording saying the number had been disconnected. That was a lie, because I immediately called from a different phone and the number rang and answered. This is a ploy to keep people from either complaining or asking questions. This is dishonest and makes me wonder what else is not so honest here. I will never donate either money or goods to them. There are other charitable sites glad to get my donations. .
