We had a very pleasant patient-Doctor relationship, until its staff refused to help my husband from the car at the entrance with a wheelchair. I went to one of the front desks, asking for help, and "an older female employee" informed me, that they won't help any longer. She questioned me "how does your husband go from your house to the car in the driveway? I told her that he has a problem walking. Her reply again, "I guess, next time you have to hire a transportation/service company to bring him to this office and his appointment". We told the Doctor, that we may have to leave AHN, however, he "almost ran to the back, possibly talking to the Officer Manager. He then decided to help my husband with the wheelchair any time we had an appointment, which didn't last very long.
I have seen Brent McIntosh in Franklin and had surgery without X-ray. He did not listen to what my problem was but done surgery on what he thought was a cyst. Turns out I had no cyst and the knot on my wrist is still there. When I tried to explain the knot is what I was concerned about because it was getting bigger and painful. He was rude and said that he could make his bone stick out too. Today I went back to see him and he admitted that he messed up by not listening to me and left me with a really nasty scare on my wrist. Then wanted to stick a needle in my knot. I am truly unhappy with the way I have been treated and feel like he is doing what he wants to do and not fix the problem to cost people more money. I am truly displeased with the service I have received with him. I am truly thinking of placing a lawsuit for malpractice against him.
