Sunflower Veterinary Service

Sunflower Veterinary Service was established by Linda and David Wallace in 1978 to serve the veterinary care needs of both large and small animals in Minneapolis and the surrounding communities.

Russell Van Meter DVM, David K. Wallace DVM, Linda Wallace and Laura Brown would appreciate the opportunity to provide your animals with care that fits your personal and family goals.

Please call for an appointment so we can be timely in serving all our clients.

Hours:
8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday
8:00 am to12:00 noon Saturday

We provide emergency service for both large and small animals evenings and weekends. There is an after hours fee.

This veterinarian was extremely friendly, and paid attention to both me and my pet. They really made the extra effort to make us feel welcome and at home. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me.

Godbless Doc Wallace and Sunflower Veterinary Supply. They have literally saved the lives of 2 of our dogs, and are just the nicest people. I was always a huge James Herriott fan growing up and Doc Wallace evokes many good memories.
