They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I'll definitely be going back. I didn't have a bad experience. As for patients that are uninsured i really don't think it's any of your business! What do you want the providers to do? Refuse the sick? You know people like you will not always have the red carpet rolled out for you! Your luck may end sooner than you think! I think the clinic was excellent and is a very excellent option than paying for an er visit! The wait can be long at some times however when viruses spread what else can you expect.
This is a drop in clinic on Rd 68 in Pasco. It suffers from the cultural climate in this area. You will wait an average of 4hrs to get in and another 1hr for a nurse or doctor to show up to your room. While in the waiting room, the chairs are uninviting and uncomfortable and entire families are often stacked in the waiting room with coughing and hacking taking place in waves.
The front end staff will be proffesional but cold and uninviting. There will be lots of non-payers (an assumption I make based on my experience in the Health Care field) waiting with their children as they use the facility to obtain check ups and antibiotics.
Once you finally are seen by a nurse they are very fast and get the job done. Then you wait another 30 minutes for a doctor. The doctors visit with you for about 5 minutes and are very professional and seem to know their craft. Depending on your symptoms you are prescribed medication. If a strep test is warranted you will wait another hour for the results.
This kind of clinic is not a good place to go if you're attempting to get back to work the same day. I know it could be done much more effectively and with priority for paying patience. It is overrun with minor colds and family check ups.
