I am had involvement with RTAH for years. Dr Fenton was very thoughtful and thorough. I had taken my pets there for years. After all my pets passed and I adopted new ones, took them to a different for years. The other vets availability was diifficult with my schedule.

I learned there is now a new Dr. who bought the practice. I thought wow they are so close and have availability. The last time I was there was around 2015. I was bringing my pets there since 2007. When I went back the Dr., Dr. Demian who now owns the practice is a disgrace. The place has not been updated since 2005 when I started going. Annnoyed with me asking questions about what was wrong with my pet. During Covid there were other pet owners in and out with and without masks. The place is filthy. I mean dirt, tumbleweeds of hair...The facility even had the same equipment from whenFenton, owned the place. I don't like speculating but i would not be suprised if the medications were expired. estimate was hand written and I as if she kept made up prices. The communication between staff was horrendous. The office manager wore street clothing which personally, I feel is so unprofessional. If your a manager you represent the facility. They gave me an estimate which took about 20 to 40 minutes. I felt like I was buying a car. It was an all day affair. She seemed like she knew her stuff but for the prices she charges $500+ just for vaccines is outrageous. You would think that with those prices she could replace the flooring. I would not trust this facility to treat a dead pet let alone one living. There are cleaner hospitals, better staff, better time management and more personable. Adoption vet is a lot cheaper, Laurelton vet is pricey but personable, Purrfurred Vet is clean, big, personable and the Dr there takes the time to talk to you. Do not go there unless you want to pay a mortgage. Also the receptionist was rude, sparky and just seemed super lazy and unknowledge.

Dr. Fenton was my vet from 1996 to 2008. He was the most caring human being who took care of my do, cat, and even me. My husband and I are moving back but to toms river I plan to reconnect with him and his staff sometime in October
