Bay View Veterinary Hospital should have a sign that says .... We charge anything and do anything we want to you and your pets.
It's the most unprofessional business I have ever patronized!
These people were told not to give my cats leukemia inoculations, yet they did. Bengals do not require them. They also ran tests that were not due to be run.... AND ... they ran them on the wrong cat.
The staff doesn't have a clue what a appointment is. I waited 45 minutes only to be told, the Dr was not in. The girl at the desk is a complete waist of space.
After a few days, Bartels did call me back about my complaints. He basically called me a liar, saying I didn't tell Alan not to give the shots. Alan ... either you lie or you don't listen. Never once did Bartels offer to rectify the situation.
I finally found a wonderful Veterinarian ... told her what happened ... showed her the charges. With disgust she said ..... this is why folks don't take care of their pets ... they are afraid of being gouged.
Months/years later, I still run into people who have got ripped off by this guy. It has since been a mission of mine to talk to other pet owners about this place. Sad thing is .... most have already heard about it. Stay away if you value your pets and your wallet.
