I first saw Dr. Evans as a new patient in 2016 for my annual checkup. I was so surprised at how the office staff and timing went because of my 30 prior years of waiting for hours to be seen, only to be called back as soon as I set my stuff down by my chair. His staff were all so friendly, and I would find they would remember me and things about me each time I'd visit thereafter. As for Dr. Evans, I can't give more than 5 stars, but I would give him 10. His comforting and personable bedside manner is awesome. He treats you like a real person, not just the next patient. He spends as much time with you as needed, and on some visits I needed it. When my pap smear came back with bad results, he didn't say "Let's just watch it" like the doctor the year before. He IMMEDIATELY jumped on it and scheduled a biopsy. When that came back bad, he IMMEDIATELY scheduled and LEEP procedure. During that procedure, he also took sampled from numerous other places to ensure there were no other abnormal cells inside. When those tests came back with "clear margins" and he had gotten it all with the LEEP, I asked for a full hysterectomy immediately and it was scheduled for 4 weeks later once I healed from the LEEP. With each bad result, I would cry and he would console me and reassure me it was all going to be just fine. My hospital stay was one night, I have two tiny scars about 1/4" you cannot even see and had really no pain after one day. I take this to mean he is as gentle a surgeon as he is a person. A year later, I'm so grateful to have had a doctor who JUMPED on my test results and was aggressive in getting my issues resolved quickly. He listened to me and what I wanted, treated me like a real person, joked around with me (a lot), and is just a great man and doctor all around.
