Dr. Deforge and the staff at Silver Sands have always been great in caring for our various furry family members. The practice has convenient hours in the evening and on weekends when necessary and they make every effort to accomodate your schedule. We have had several pets with major medical issues which Dr. Deforge has treated with very thorough effort and extremely reasonable rates. For awhile, he was doing $10 office visits and vaccinations at cost while it routinely runs $100-300 dollars just to walk through the doors of other vet offices. Dr. Deforge and his staff have frequently emailed us detailed and comprehensive follow-up information and recommendations on our pet's issues which must have taken them a considerable amount of time and effort to compile. Additionally, they consistently follow up on your pet's condition after the visit. If you call with an issue, they usually solve it right over the phone but if they are busy someone will always call back within a reasonable amount of time. I don't think you will find a higher quality or more economical vet in this area than Silver Sands.
