This VA admitted to my fiancee and my own face. The VA does not care about quality of life or wellbeing the VA cares about numbers and only normal numbers. You are not a person in the VA clinic of Mount Vernon you are only a number. The staff constantly talk about how the places is closing down, and where they will be going in front of Veterans and their families making the enviroment stressful and unpleasant. The wait times are long, and the doctors always claimed to behnd. You will not be seen promptly. The mental health department is good, but they cannot see you on regular bases and appointments are few and far between unless you want to do groups.
