If you put your loved one here you will have to bring them food because the food they are served is no better than at a school cafeteria. You will also have to visit every day to make sure they are getting the medicines prescribed by your loved one's Dr. and nothing else.

Your questions don't fit this facility so I will write my review. My father was in Heritage House in a "Rehab" bed. First of all the Rehab unit should be separate from the long term facilities. It is not good for people who can do for themselves to have to be mixed in with people who cannot. The showers are humiliating, the halls frequently smell like dirty diaper pails and it is generally degrading to eat with others who are being fed. I found the Therapy departments, Speech, Occupational and Physical were excellent. That's what my Daddy was in there for and they were caring, warm and very professional. His physical self was much improved when we left there. The food was good and almost always warm. The aides we had were very good. The Nursing care was very poor with the exception of two very overworked women, Marcia Zorn and Nikki Ragan. Medications did not arrive on time and the worst is that my Dad was given a narcotic for a headache repeatedly even when he asked for an aspirin or Tylenol for10 days after the doctor changed the orders.
