Tupelo Childrens Mansion is just what it states. They treat the children as if they were their very own, discipline them, and give them lots of love. They are treated well. I have a daughter there who was in need of treatment that I could not give her. She has done very well there, has received a lot of necessary counselling as needed and her schooling has been exceptional. I am proud of what they have accomplished because I would have never been able to bring her to the place she is now. Is the place perfect, No but neither is your home perfect. They do teach them to become awesome citizens of our country. I have met several who were raised in that school in the about 50 yrs they have been there. Everyone that I have talked to that was raised there are very proud of the man or women they have become. The city has provided much for the children and they are all happy for the things they have received. I know for certain that most children that are there would never have the things at home that they have there. The children are taken shopping, given spending money to buy things they want and or need, talk to parents or guardians on the phone and are allowed to have visitors such has family or friends. In all honesty, I am proud of my child being in that school.
