I graduated from Cleveland College of Chiropractic Los Angeles in 1977 and began my practice in Seal Beach, CA in 1978. with a focus on sports medicine. I was able to work directly with spine surgeons from the Wiltse Spine Surgery group in Long Beach, CA until 1994, at which time I moved to Colorado, and started my practice in Grand Junction.
I attended acupuncture school in Denver, CO from 1997 until graduation in 2000.
My latest research into neural therapy began in 2021 and now includes using the Phoenix Wave neural therapy device to 'turn on' the tight, restricted, and weakened muscles from past, untreated injuries from any number of causes.
I offer massage therapy and moist heat to relax and stretch the muscles before any spinal manipulation is performed. Depending on examination findings, acupuncture and neural therapy may also be used to provide quick and lasting relief for a variety of chronic neck, low back, and joint pain, weakness, and instability.
Treatments in my office are usually 1 hour or more.
Most patients experience quick relief and most conditions are resolved within 4-6 weeks. Treatments are usually once per week for the 4-6 week time period.
I will prescribe exercises that include stretching and strengthening to improve muscle strength and joint range of motion.
I am unable to accept credit cards. Payments can be made with check, cash, or PayPal.

Most neck and low back pain is caused from chronic muscle shortening from past injuries and accidents that were not treated. My focus with new patients is to review all childhood injuries from sports, auto accidents, and other traumas common in childhood.
