Terrible can't begin to describe the experience you'll have with this so called Nutritionist. She provides no insight or service to a client other than to repeat the same general advice that can be found in any book on nutrition.
I was referred to this person by my doctor for preventive advice for pre diabetes. I explained my situation regarding inability to have time to cook, and how my unusual schedule makes standard meal times impossible. She proceeded to copy recipes from a book and tell me to eat breakfast at the same time every day. Completely impossible in my situation, and again, information that I already knew from my own basic research. For this advise on 2 appointments, the total was $495.00.
This total brings up the worst part of the whole experience. She claims to take insurance, however my insurance would not initially pay. They required a doctors note saying that the treatment was necessary. I made appointments and had 2 doctors submit letters to the insurance company, and informed Live Nutrition to resubmit the bill. She did not. After several months of no contact, I received a registered letter informing me to pay the total, PLUS the cost of registered mail. I immediately sent a check for 50 dollars, and inquired regarding the insurance. No response. After cashing my check, she proceeded to file a small claims suit! I continued making payments, and showed for the court date, only to be informed that the case was continued, without my knowledge, causing me to waste several hours in court. I looked at the court list and found that Live nutrition had no fewer than 10 cases pending. She of course, attempts to make clients pay for filing court fees as well. In short, this person is a scam operator, a fraud and a complete rip off. STAY AWAY. I am filing both a lawsuit and will be filing a complaint with the state board of registration.
