Gamespeed was started in 1995 by world-class athlete Aaron Thigpen, member of 11 U.S. national teams.He started coaching other athletes part-time between his professional track and field seasons before finally starting Gamespeed 19 years ago. Gamespeed started as outdoor training sessions at the local track or park, generally "vagabonding" around the Bay Area. Today he own's a 12,000sf facility located on two acres which he proudly calls the "Challenge Grounds".
