on December 17 i took my daughter to emergency room due to suicidal thoughts and attempts. Crisis social worker got me an appointment the next day with a counselor at Sandy counseling center .The therapist cancelled due to family emergency and rescheduled for December 27. We weren't happy due to being in "crisis mode" but we also knew we could hold out for a week to get her. December 26th the office called and told me that none of the counselors took my insurance "sorry" and that was end of the conversation. No self pay options, no out of net work billing options. Just sorry. This appointment was our hope. A little notice and we could have found another counselor.
