Barbara is wonderful. I must say I had no expectations from the therapy and after the first session asked myself - why am I doing it. But after about the third session I could see how it can work for me. She refuted my self diagnosis, and a diagnosis that some doctors gave me (those who prescribe without looking into personal history details) and saved my life. I was able to focus on my emotions and feelings and be attentive to how my body react to certain situations, and from there to understand where those negative feelings are coming from. This approach might be difficult for those who are very disconnected from their feelings and afraid to face them. It worked for me. I developed self respect for myself. I felt normal. And I'm very grateful to Barbara.
