Looking forward to my first meeting with Doctor Lynne Namka, I was very disappointed during the entire first session with her, which lasted two hours. With both body gestures, sighs, and at times inappropriate comments, she seemed not only disinterested in me as a patient but seemed very judgmental to the point where it kept her from comprehending my emotional trauma, rudely interrupting and even cutting me off at times. I don't understand why anyone would become a psychologist or a therapist if they don't seem to have a sincere desire to help patients which I found Dr. Namka to be so seriously deficient in. She came across as cold, uncaring, and detached. At the end of this two hour session, I felt as lost and confused as I was when I went in and emotionally even a bit worse off than before I went in. Please spare yourself the time, the travel and the considerable money on going to see this person who doesn't seem to be able to offer anything but cool indifference and even criticism. If you're looking for someone who is really interested in helping you and has the willingness and capacity to do so, you will not find it with this doctor.
