We brought our 9+ year old Lab/Border Collie Mix after a detriment incident that had caused internal injuries to her. We had originally called an "On call Vet" who made a house visit that turned out VERY DISSAPOINTING. He did not do what we asked, and misdiagnosed her. We ended up making an appointment with Dr. Gustafson in Coupeville. He was most kind and gentle with our dog (and us). After discussion with the Dr. we were all in agreement that she needed to be put out of her pain. And as hard as it was, I'm glad and relieved that Dr. Gustafson was the one that did it. He was so gentle with her, and talked to her until her last breath. We will miss her IMMENSELY, but knowing she is in a better place, pain free and how she got there and spent her last moments on this earth, I am heartfelt that we were lucky enough to have Dr. Gustafson. We have 2 other dogs, and will be sure to be taking them both to Dr. Gustafson for any future needs or services. Thank you for making the most difficult moment a little easier to bare.
