Dr Douglass is a highly educated and experienced chiropractor. He is also knowledgeable in many other of the healing arts and nutrition. He is a VERY kind, caring, compassionate doctor & really great at diagnosing and fixing what other doctors missed. He earned my trust healing my daughter who took a severe fall down steps. Her cognition was very impaired, and I had already gone to 8 different Chiropractors, but nothing fixed her neck injury area. When I was traveling down to Destin, I looked up Chiropractors and this is his Bio...it speaks for itself. Dr. Douglass has been a licensed Chiropractic Physician since 1991. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in Nutrition and Chemistry from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Honors in Research from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. In addition, he has completed postgraduate studies through Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, MA

I was in extreme pain(had been for 1 week) - back and upper leg- sciatic. Chiropractor advised over phone not to do any twisting, to stop vibration therapy and to get into him asap. Said he could definitely help. Arrived there that afternoon. He took xrays and wanted to send me home until the next day after he had a chance to review the xrays. I insisted I needed something done due to the pain(and I didn't want to have to pay an additional copay), he said I could wait a couple hours until he could read them. I chose to wait, he then did a very mild adjustment and sent me home, but asked that I come back the next day. I did return for 2 more visits(again not full adjustments-just one spot), but never any improvement.
I decided to stop going to him and began with at home massage and vibration therapy and it relieved itself 1 1/2 weeks later. Not quite sure it was worth the copays, xrays, and additional week of waiting in pain for me to revert back to what I was doing previously.
I do regularly see a chiropractor, but was not in my normal home area, so needed someone new for a short time.
