Dr. Sanchez's goal as a therapist is to develop and deliver compassionate, responsive, and effective quality mental health services to all those who seek professional treatment or consultation. Dr. Sanchez seeks to aid and assist individuals in developing strategies to cope more effectively with their life's challenges.

Dr. Sanchez draws from his variety of training and educational experiences and uses Cognitive Behavioral Techniques in therapy. However, Dr. Sanchez also often uses an eclectic approach to assist patients in overcoming the cognitive, emotional, and/or life challenges they may be facing.

Education Dr. Sanchez received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Texas at San Antonio, his Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, and later earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) with a concentration in Forensics from Carlos Albizu University, an APA accredited university in Miami.
Training Dr. Sanchez completed his pre-doctoral internship at Citrus Health Network, an APA accredited pre-doc internship site in Miami, and completed his post-doctoral fellowship in Californias Department of Corrections, Wasco State Prison Reception Center.

Dr. Sanchez has over 17 years of training and experience working in South Florida, Texas and California in psychiatric hospitals, residential settings, the Department of Corrections, community mental health centers and outpatient settings.

Dr. Sanchez has significant experience with the treatment of ADHD, oppositional and defiant behaviors, addictions, anger management, depression, and anxiety. He works to help improve problematic symptoms, enhance interpersonal relationships, and decrease disruptive behaviors and conflict.

Dr. Sanchez treats a variety of disorders but he specializes in the assessment and treatment of emotional issues in adolescents and adults who are struggling with mood and personality disorders, adjustment problems, substance abuse, crisis management, family issues and forensics.
