Jane Dooley MSEd., LPC is licensed by the state of Ohio as a Professional Counselor. Jane holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Communication from Franklin University and a Masters of Science Degree in Counseling from the University of Dayton.

Jane is a compassionate counselor who focuses on individual strengths to build and foster healthy communication and relationships. She is committed to helping empower you to better understand yourself and your behavior. With my encouragement and support we will work together to develop a more effective way of living a positive and productive life.

As a trained Licensed Professional Counselor-Clinical Resident (LPC-CR) I can provide the diagnosis and treatment of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. In addition, my certification in Chemical Dependency enables me to offer dual diagnosis and treatment.

Services Therapy is designed to be an interpersonal treatment for conflicts in living such as life transitions, adjustment issues, career frustrations and general life problems. Therapy provides ways to express feelings and can alleviate pain and suffering in a safe and confidential environment. I use Cognitive Behavior therapy, Solution Focused-Brief therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy, EMDR-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprosessing treatment methods to help you lead a more fulfilling life. Talking with Jane is like talking to your best friend. I really look forward to my visits. I've been in counseling for several months and have made great progress with anxiety and depression issues. Jane has tremendous insights regarding all kinds of relationship and mental health issues. I've been to other therapists who just ask you to talk and nod their heads until the time is up. Her approach is very interactive and I leave with ideas to try between visits. Jane is very caring person who is always on time and returns phone calls promptly. What more could you ask for?
