My dentist retired. Also I wanted to have amalgams removed (to see if my overall health could be better). Dr.Collin Hatcher is a holistic dentist close to where I live. My first visit was very comprehensive. I've never had a dentist who took actual photographs of each and every tooth from all sides
before! Not just X-rays. It gave me a chance to know what was really going on in my mouth. I realized from the photos that the amalgams that had been used to repair my teeth over the years were actually pushing on my teeth from the inside out as I chew and were destroying my teeth! This pushing in some cases, had allowed more cavities to form around the edges. I had already lost several of my lower back teeth and have asked about implants. After my initial cleaning exam appt., I had to get an upper and lower tooth pulled because the upper tooth was split in two by the lower tooth (both were mostly amalgam pushing and weakening the teeth). Dr. Hatcher, knowing that I was interested in one day getting implants prepared the sites of the removed teeth to receive implants in the future. Today I had a tooth prepared to receive a permanent crown in 2 weeks (so I got to lose some more amalgam). Excellent, thorough, professional, common sense service!!! The office staff are also awesome.

Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find. I scheduled an appoinment because of severe tooth pain. When I was seated in the chair they said I had an abscess and tried to tell me I should have a cadavor bone insert when they pulled my tooth. When I refused this service they said they did not have time to pull the tooth and had nothing available for one week, I requested antibiotic until I could get the tooth pulled they refused saying it was not an infection but an abscess.
