About
Tracy Woodard, MS, LMFT, CDM
Here at the Rhode Island Marriage & Family Therapy Center, we believe in the family system. We are aware of how the family system affects the individual and how the individual operates within the family system.
We use our extensive education, training, and experience to determine the best method of treatment and work with you on your unique needs and goals.
Ultimately, everyone's goal includes stabilization. We even offer divorce mediation services for those who have made the decision that they are unable to stay in their marriage and want to utilize the most amicable way of attaining that goal, making it as easy as possible on themselves and their children.
Relationship Therapy
Most couples struggle with some problems in their relationships at some point. Oftentimes they are able to work through them, but sometimes they need outside help to manage their differences.
Many of us find it hard to take the first step to seek out guidance for lots of reasons. People want to believe they can solve their own problems. After all, we are intelligent human beings. Many have heard stories about marriage counseling that has just gone wrong. No one wants to expose themselves psychologically only to be criticized or told that they are wrong. After struggling with those anxieties, how does one go about choosing a therapist?
The RI Marriage & Family Therapy Center has years of experience in making a difference in the lives of Rhode Islanders. Our large team of therapists enables you to find the right fit for all your counseling needs.

People who are homebound may not have the ability or opportunity to see a provider in person. Those who travel frequently or are overly busy may find it difficult to make regular appointments. Some people are ashamed.
